Single D unit 22ft cargo box.and how far should a single d unit deadhead to find some loads.

The truck is a 2006 freightliner M2 with 96 AAsleeper and 22 foot supreme cargo box.My next question is because the gross weight is 33000# that will make my cargo weight 14100# will this change my status from a D unit to a C unit.
