2006 Freightliner Columbia Expedite Truck

We are selling our 2006 Freightliner Columbia straight truck. It is set up and ready to run as an expedite truck (we’ve had it leased to FedEx Custom Critical while we’ve owned it.) 
Here are some of its main features:

Freightliner Columbia cab and sleeper with double bunk.

Mercedes MBE 4000 (sometimes called the “MBE 460”)
6 cylinders, 12.8 liters, producing 435 HP.
No Emission controls (No DPF to clog up on you.)

Eaton-Fuller Ultrashift 10 spd fully automatic transmission (no clutch pedal)

Single drive axle (making it a 33,000 lbs GVW truck)

Air Ride suspension in the rear and on the cab/sleeper.

22’ dry cargo box with barn-style doors and horizontal e-track locks.

Rear Landing Gear so a forklift can enter the box.

Twin 100 gallon aluminum fuel tanks.

New Dometic brand fridge in the sleeper.

The truck has 872,618 miles on it. We have owned it since May of 2013. We bought it from Middle GA Freightliner with 477,XXX miles on it, and have run it primarily as a team truck, and always with FedEx Custom Critical.  We have done our best to keep the truck mechanically as sound as possible by doing whatever repairs and maintenance it has needed during our time of ownership.  We have a file of maintenance receipts that is about an inch thick that I am happy to show a prospective buyer to give you a sense of how we’ve tried to take care of it. The only mechanical item outstanding on it that a new buyer will need pretty soon are two new drive tires (one side.) The ones needing to be replaced are functional but have about 300,000 miles on them and are getting low on tread (they are Continentals, the rest of the truck has Michelins on it.)

The truck has a clear TX Title on it. We financed it when we bought it, and I have the letter of release from the lien as well signature of release on the title itself.

Cosmetically you can see from the pictures that there are some blemishes (clear coat on the cab is faded and peeling, surface rust on some parts from running on salty interstates, some scratches, some peeling on the dash in the cab, a rip in the seat, etc.)

We’re asking $14,000 for it.
