As the hotter months are approaching we always worry about being out of the truck & leaving our dogs for long periods of time. Even though we have an APU to run the AC for them you never know when it or the AC could stop running. We recently purchased a Temp Stick to monitor the temperature inside the truck that will alert us if the temp gets above a certain point.

We always enjoy getting out of the truck & finding things to do when we have time between loads. Since we had a few days before our next load picked up we checked out some things around Minot North Dakota. We enjoyed the scenery & drive around Upper Souris National Wildlife Refuge & Lake Darling. Then we played a fun round of glow in the dark miniature golf at The Putt District in downtown Minot.
Protecting sensitive information is another important part of our job as drivers. Think twice before posting what may be sensitive information to social media or online. A good rule of thumb is, if it's questionable don't post it.
Not knowing how things are going to be when you get out on the road is something a lot of people question. I want to share my personal experience of how it was coming into expediting with virtually no experience and some of the challenges I faced as an individual as well as team driving with my spouse.
