Hi Everyone, Let’s explore the number one question we get everyday; how can I spend less on my insurance? The answers can vary but there are a few points that can be useful to all Expediters.
We’ll deal with "leased on" owner operators first.

A common question that comes up when we explain that your "insurance credit score" comes into play on all insurance now. The first response from everyone is, "What’s my credit got to do with it?"
The reality is, our credit rating is directly involved in so many parts of our lives.

Hi Everyone, here's a call I get at least once a week....

"Hey Shelly, How come I only saved $1,100 a year on my insurance when you saved my buddy Stan over $2,300?”

Wow what a loaded question, how do I answer this without getting between friends and stay out of hot water on the legal front. That darn privacy law stuff...

Hi Everyone, I just returned from the GPS Net Conference in Amelia Island, FL (Yes, it was wonderful to go someplace quasi warm!). Stu Sutton & his staff ran an excellent event as usual.

If you're not familiar, his innovative "Alliance" software launched an "industry first" web-based solution that revolutionized transportation management systems to move freight across North America...

    Hi Everyone,

When you drive for a living you've probably seen just about everything. We had a client call us about this wee “pig tail” . On a night run from Texas to Tennessee, our straight truck driver came over a hill and out runs a wild boar, then KaBoom, he knocks porky into the median....

Hi Everyone, Now that the first hectic 2 weeks of January are behind us, time to settle in and get back to business. A common question that we receive is that of "Stated Amount" or "Stated Value" on a Commercial Auto Insurance policy. Does that mean that whatever amount someone chooses to place on their truck is what it will pay out at the time of loss?
  • New Year's Resolutions

Some people see resolutions like promises...made to be broken but not intentional! How did your resolutions go in 2009? Don’t feel bad, most people don’t even bother with resolutions anymore. Let's face it, just staying afloat was a resolution kept this past year for which we should all be proud.

  • The Christmas Spirit

What is the best Christmas you can remember? The one with a special present under the tree when you were a kid? The Christmas morning you awoke to snowfall only God could have created? Or maybe the year you had the whole extended family together to share this special day?

It’s that time of year again...when everyone forgets how to drive in bad weather! You’d think most of these people had never seen snow before, but most of us who drive in it grew up in it. It’s like someone dropped them off on a mysterious planet without the warning of "Gravity no longer applies to you."

Hi Everyone, Well, "The Phantom caused the damage"...and it’s not funny when it happens to you.

You’re in the truck stop, restroom, or sometimes even while you're bunked away for the night and someone nails your parked unit. The Phantom hits day or night...
