Andy and Ed,
I hope your trip is going well. What a great idea to get out on the road and drive for charity! Drive safe, and if you are using the navigation on Qualcomm (Navigo), I would love to hear your feedback!
Thank you,

Andy & Ed,
More power to you. Raise money for the children who do not even have a roof over their head or a piece of food in their belly. Cheer them up with a toy and help them realize that there are people like you who care about them.
God Bless & Stay Safe

Come on People, these guys are out on the road trying to make money for
Toys for Tots. How many trucking companies have their CEO and CIO on the
road doing this? NONE!!! But these two come out on the road for the kids
and some are down on them. Some of you should be ashamed for posting bad
things on here. This is a good thing and people want to be so negative
about this. Thanks Andy and Ed, I'm sure the Marines and the kids are happy
for what your doing.

I am a Panther Cargo Van Driver , Yes, I get upset about the waiting for a
load too, But , I noticed that this page was suppose to be comments about
Andy & Eds Road Trip. I think what they are doing is a very good thing ,
and wish drivers would get more involved in supporting what they are doing
for the needy. Have you ever seen a childs face when someone restored hope
in their life? Think about the last time you were down in life with no hope
, And someone came out of nowhere and blessed you. I have also noticed that
complaining never got me anywhere in life. Maybe if we as drivers would be
a supporting team with our company , The company would become a great
witness to those hiring Panther for their Expediting needs. Where people
work together and support each other , THINGS GET DONE and MIRACLES HAPPEN
May God Bless Panther For What They Are Doing

To all the drivers who got nothing better to do and complain. Be lucky your
getting a run, with that attitude I would skip over you in a heartbeat.
Take a good look in the mirror next time and thank your lucky stars you
even have a job. I've never worked for a company that have so many
complainers. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Just think that could
be you out on the streets looking in. To all the drivers who think this a
great thing, its nice to see that there are people who have a heart. By the
way the person who made the comment about hoteling it, their sleeping in
the van. Why do you think they call it raising money for "KIDS". I think
its great that our leadership is out here trying to help kids that don't
have much. Merry Christmas to all of you. Even the hum bug drivers out
there.

it is a good to give to toys for tots.if andy and ed wanted to donate for
this cause it should come out of corperite funds.i have had 1, onehundred
twentyfour mile run in 6 days now.what with all the miles i am getting i
find it hard to buy toys for my tots.again it is a good idea to give to
toys for tots but not at the expense of drivers that pay panther to find
loads for us after all we are out here with the expectation we will make a
prophet not just break even or even worse go in the red for the week.

YES IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT CHARITY, BUT ALSO, THEY WANTED TO LIVE A WEEK
IN OUR SHOES. OH YEAH, THEY ARE DRIVING. BUT THATS JUST IT! THEY ARE NOT
HAVING TO SIT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, AND I GUARANTEE THEY ARE BEING PUSHED
AHEAD OF OTHER DRIVERS TO GET THESE LOADS. DISPATCH JUST DOES'NT WANT TO
LOSE THEIR JOBS BY TREATING THESE GUYS LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE. SO KUDOS' FOR
HELPING TOYS FOR TOTS! BUT THE "LIVING LIKE THE REGULAR DRIVERS OUT HERE,
THATS ALL B.S.!

The cynicism expressed in this thread disgusts me. Can't anyone do
anything nice these days without being accused of having an ulterior
motive. Bah humbug to those of you who have nothing positive to say about
this. I hope you get coal in your stocking and ice in your fuel line.

I to am a van driver with Panther and like most of the drivers out here
live basically from run to run and as a driver I think what they are doing
is great and personally if they end up on the same board as me I would have
no problem being passed by for them. I would look at it as being passed
over for a good cause unlike the times I have been passed over for no
reason. For those who think what they are doing is bs and continue to
complain try putting yourself or your children in the place of these
children that these funds are going to help. Or even go stay one night in a
homeless shelter and look at the faces of the children living there with
nothing. Toys for tots doesn't just provide toys they provide hope and
tells these families others out there still care.

I THINK ITS GREAT UR HELPING OUT RAISING MONEY FOR ORGANIZATIONS. A TEAM
IN A VAN ...COME ON FOR ONE IT IS ILLEGAL TO SLEEP SITTING UP, CERTAINLY
NOT LOGGING THAT WAY. THOUGH IT GREAT TO HAVE A VEHICLE IN EVERY LOCATION
IN THE NATION THERE FOR A RUN, BUT WHEN THERE IS SEVERAL, THEN SOMEONE HAS
TO SUFFER AND SIT LONGER....TIME, MONEY,& BOREDOM, FUEL WASTED TRYING TO
STAY WARM.

HI AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS,,HATS OFF TO THE GUYS WORKING FOR CHARITY,,BUT AS
SAID BY MANY YOU SHOULD WORRY ABOUT YOUR OWN BACK PORCH..MAYBE THIS
EXPERIENCE AND COMMENTS WILL MAKE DISPATCH AND UPPER MANAGEMENT UNDERSTAND
THE NEEDS OF ITS DRIVERS AND BE MORE UNDERSTANDING OF THEIR PROBLEMS IN
THESE TUFF TIMES..I DONT DRIVE NOW BUT DID DRIVE FOR TRISTATE AS AN OWNER
IN A STRAIGHT TRUCK IN 99-01.WAS THINKING OF GETTING BACK INTO IT BUT I CAN
BE HUNGRY IN MY OWN BED.I ADMIRE THE DRIVERS WHO ARE STILL OUT THERE TRYING
TO RIDE IT OUT AS I'M SURE SOME DONT HAVE A CHOICE..BUT PLEASE HAVE FAITH
IN GOD AND YOUR COMPANY AND MAYBE SOON IT WILL ALL BE BETTER....MERRY
CHRISTMAS TO ALL

Most everyone out here has a road handle. My wife calls you two "Handy Andy
and Mr. Ed".
I do believe you've had a great experience and eye opener. My hat's off to you both. Be safe heading home and have a safe and merry Holiday season.
