I`m in the Nashville Tn area, and i`m leased out ot a couple of companies,
and i`m only averaging about one, or two runs a month with the two. I`m
broke, and very frustrated. I`m treying to find something to work with, and
verything i try is costing me more, and more money, and i`m getting very
little results. I need work in the worst way, and i don`t know which way to
turn next..... Can you help me....Please! I own a 2006 one ton Chevy 12
ft Cargo Van, and i live in Franklin Tn. If there is something we can do

I am Truck driver with about 12 years under my belt. I have a clean
driver's license with all endorsements.I also have port badges for Tampa
and jacksonville(including TWIC). I would like to look into leasing a
sprinter van w/sleeper. I know this might unlikely, but i would like to
work tues. thru sat. mondays are cool if can get home that evening and then
leave out that night. I figure that I don't need a logbook, so I could run
as many miles as a big truck and still get home for spiritual obligations.
Any ideas?

I drive for A. Blair. I just want to note that since i have been in this
business going on 4 years now, that Tom and the boys at dispatch have
treated me with respect and never lied to me-ever! they have always paid me
on time. miles you want to know about? well this is expediting and they
vary but in the past 3 months, i have never gone below 1000. my loads
average 700+ miles and my deadhead is virtually nothing. I have never had a
load less than 400 miles. never. they pay a little less than some carriers
but know what? who cares if you are making money? i make a buttload with
these guys and i am happy with my company. how many expediters pray for
sleep? i do because they keep me rolling. i remember turning down a 1600
mile load from detroit to laredo because they ran me so much. oh yea! they
have never pulled a load off of me after i picked it up. i know of a
certain meowing company that used to offer me a 1000 mile load. then i go
to pick it up and as soon as i am rolling down the highway, they called me
back to say, "Mr. H., we are going to transfer this load in 300 miles."
what tha???? why am i posting this? because i believe in this company and
they have allowed me to live the expediting life i used to dream about. oh
yea- and because an ignoramous driver couldn't do math this weekend and
virtually told me i was stupid. ok whatever. i love a. blair and will
continue working for them for a long time.

My wife and I have been driving going on six years in the expedite
business. We drove for the well known (cat logo) for five years. Even
though we hardley ever turned down loads or out of service our miles were
declining. To drive for another company was a very hard decision to make.
We wanted to stay but the miles had just disappeared,oh I forgot to mention
we also are hasmat, goverment approve. We now drive for another company. We
need a company we can stay with that can at least try to give us 3,000miles
a week.We know no promises but at least try. Maybe get home once every
3mos.Texas.We are very hard workers. Just tired of the run around. We have
a 2008 Sterling straight truck class 8, dock high,22'bx. We feel we could
