Joplin Petro to host 19th Annual Truckers Jamboree June 5-6 with barbecue, rides, live music

JOPLIN, Mo. — The Joplin 44 Petro will be the site of the 19th Annual Truckers Jamboree June 5-6.

The Petro is located at I-44 & Hwy 43, Exit 4 in Joplin, Missouri.

The fun-filled weekend will include live music, an Antique Truck Exhibition, and free Ferris Wheel rides.

NASCAR driver Tony Stewart's No. 14 show car will be on display and show-goers "ride" in a NASCAR simulator.

To close the event, a spectacular fireworks show will take place at 9:45 p.m. Saturday.

The event is free to the public and boasts dozens of exhibitors from across the country.

Activities start at 9 a.m. both and truckers and their families are invited to come and enjoy some barbecue, and celebrate the American truck driver.
