R & M is mainly a refrigerated trucking company owned by Roadrunner.
Forward Air is mostly LTL stuff, but also has truckload expedited, and last mile (mostly) brokered expedite.
Roadrunner Expedite is the Active Aero expedite division of Roadrunner.

Less Than Truckload.
In trucking, it's mostly TL or FTL (Truckload or Full Truckload) or LTL (Less Than Truckload), but you also have CL and LCL (Container Load, and Less Than Container Load) for those large shipping containers.
And what does it mean when companies say your pay and plus FSC ?
It means that if they charge the customer any Fuel Surcharge, they will pay it to you, since you're the one buying the fuel.

I wonder how many people here really know, without looking it up, what a semi-trailer is. :D

What, no Google? I know the answer but only because I pulled semi-trailers and full trailers for 20 years.
