That's very kewl. The video mentions a few sports, but it's really baseball where ball spin is an integral and intentional factor in the sport, as pitchers throw with backspin, topspin, and sidespin to get all kinds of movement out of the ball. Hitters try and pick up the ball out of the pitcher's hand so they can see what the spin is in order to anticipate what it will do.

Can't believe the basket shot at the end, regardless of how many basketballs they brought with them. From that height, I think anything within a 50 foot radius is pretty much a bullseye.

I remember Pete Rose saying that on a good day at the plate, he could see the stitches on a baseball as it approached. I also remember repeated instances where Pete was at bat with a 3-2 count and fouling off several consecutive pitches until he found one he liked.
