Van Body Radius Corners - Open or Closed

Just installing some plywood and e-track and noticed the front corners have a 6-7" section (betwen the yellow lines) that is left open - you can see daylight, there is about a 1/2" gap. Is this normal or should I seal it up?

No it's not normal. A peanut empire was shut down because of holes like that. Rats and stuff can get in there.

I thought not, looked at the 5 ton and it has what appears to be a small hole (or maybe not) - it looks MUCH bigger in the photo due to the reflection off that polished stainless, its no more than a hlaf inch but still didn't look right. So I should put some expanding foam and caulk in there?

Was it Jimmy Carter? LOL

Yeah, I'd seal it up. Check underneath, too.
