The socialist debate

The biggest problem with socialism, regardless of the variety you choose, is socialism always leads to tyranny or dictatorships, because it values the group over the individual which eventually means not respecting individual rights.

Jim Webb is a dimishing breed of Democrat politician in that party.
I liked it when he said this:
"But we have to respect the tradition in this country of people who want to defend themselves and their family from violence. There are people in high levels in this government who have bodyguards twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The average American does not have it and deserves the right to be able to protect their family."

Lot of free stuff without a clue on how they will pay for any of it. Kind of predictable.

I remember when my kids were young, and I would tell them, I don't have any money. They would tell me just to go to the cash machine, it always has money. Didn't realize at the time that the Federal Reserve Bank is also a never ending cash machine. I guess my kids were right after all...

Yeah, that's the problem with the left. They think they can give everyone everything and pay for it from the pockets of those who work. Leftists are somehow mentally or genetically defective or both.

The only solution to pay for it all I heard was...

(Sung to row row row your boat)

Tax, Tax, Tax the rich
Till there is no more,
Then we'll find another way,
To tax the working poor.

That's really it, right there. The rich have something I don't have, therefore they should be punished. WAAA WAAA WAAA. It's childish jealousy that liberal never grew out of. They'll try and justify it all kinds of ways, bit it all stems from hate. Liberals hate the rich. It's not that they merely dislike them, of they're annoyed by them, they absolutely and utterly hate the rich. They'll say they don't, then in the next breath propose changes and punishments that only come from hate.

The Liberal broken record is this: the rich are all actual or incipient criminals. Otherwise, how could they be rich? Anybody with success or its prospects should be taxed severely. Corporations are all greedy, thieving conspiracies that should be closed and shuttered, or even better, just signed over to the workers.

When you combine childish jealousy with the very adult self-loathing with a kind of low self-esteem only losers can boast, you get a hard core liberal. Healthy, stable, well-adjusted people don't besmirch those with more money or success than themselves. They admire and praise those more fortunate than they. This is what people who understand the Law of Abundance and the Laws of Success do.

Liberals, especially socialists, moan about other's riches and possessions as if they are owed the same without earning them through dedication, commitment and hard work. It's their entitlement, just like the word they use to imply they care even a little bit about anybody else, especially those with less than them. They don't.

If Liberals can, for just one moment, try to mind their own business, perhaps focusing on bettering themselves financially instead of bringing everybody else down, maybe, just maybe, we can fix our shaky economy and get on the path to prosperity once again. In context, it's clear to most Americans now that, as dysfunctional as the Republicans are, the Democrats simply don't know what they're doing.

All I can say, even from my sick bed, is the Repubs better get their asses together and not lose this election. It is theirs to lose.

What about the rich Liberals?
Ah, the 'Limousine Liberal,' a phrase to accurately describe somebody who wants everybody else taxed into poverty while they continue to drive their BMWs, drink lattes and talk about a 'woman's right to choose,' 'gun control' or 'universal healthcare for everyone.' These phonies take hypocrisy to an entirely new level. which is saying something since religious conservatives set the bar for hypocrisy. But, I've never heard of a 'Limousine Conservative.' Have you? There's a reason we invent these titles, clichés and axioms: they are, for the most part, true.

Al Gore comes to mind. lol Just like in that debate, those "evil rich wall streeters". They are going to pay by providing free healthcare, free everything for immigrants and any minority and of course, free education for all including the immigrants. One would need a lot more than the one percenters or ten percenters to pay for a fraction of it.
Of course in the debate, there was one way provided to do it. "just pass the programs to the states and they can implement them". Heard it twice actually. They leave out that many states by law have to have a balanced budget and all of them just can't print money like the Fed does. Media just plays along for a good laugh knowing half the public is clueless.

Oh, forgot the other big hilarious debate moment outside of the "black lives matter" fiasco. All but two thought it was a good idea to allow more immigrants in under the premise it is good for the country because they will bring more revenue in?
Really? Everyone that is uneducated comes in has a cost to the taxpayer. Of course they are mortgaging future generations to do it. The democrats have lost their minds. And it was funnier than " The first and greatest priority in the world is climate change".

Since when did level of education become the litmus test for allowing immigration?

Should be as the uneducated become a cost to every citizen. And actually, there are some programs that are designed specifically to bring the educated in. They already exist.

Well, thank god education isn't a factor.
My grandfather was an uneducated, but brilliant, man and he was an immigrant.

Come on Dave, I expected better from you of all people.
