How much can I expect to pay in fuel

I was wondering what is the average % of total truck revenue I can expect to go to fuel costs. I know there are a lot of variables, but there must be a average.

It would seem to me you need to establish the type of vehicle, it's mpg and how many miles you expect to drive.

Well about 30% seems to be an average - based on 10 mpg, $4 a gallon diesel and $1.40 per mile revenue.

I agree, 30% should be a reasonable ballpark average for a van or truck, provided your rate and/or f.s.c. follows the increase in fuel prices.
