Brokerage credit rating

I'm curious, if the owner of a brokerage has bad personal credit does that show up when doing a credit check? Or does only his business credit rating show up?

I believe it's based on the MC# but if you know of such a broker stay away because they are a danger to your finances. They will have higher expenses because the cost of a bond will be much more for them and they obviously can't manage money so it should be a major red flag.
