I am wanting to work with a cargo van mostly in the Carolinas maybe out to Virginia or Georgia and Tennessee. Does anybody know any companies that would have that kind of work? I am based out of Charlotte NC.

If you want to make money Expediting, you cant have those kind of limitations. But local Courier companies are always hiring cargo vans.
Check Charlotte Craigslist/ Transportation jobs.

Check with your local freight forwarders......Pilot, Seko, Ceva, etc. I think Pilot has an office in Charlotte, or close. This time of year they need help! Craigslist is your friend, as mentioned above.

Can't speak regarding a van, not my thing, but I do fairly well running solo in a straight truck for FedEx, in that area. What helps is I have all the endorsements needed for their White Glove service. Also, my income needs are not real high. A poor week will gross 1k+ to the truck, a good week, 3k+. Average is about 2100 to 2400.

I run GA, SC, NC, VA & some TN. Also will do FL, if rate is high enough :)

My wife's health is why I try and stay in the area, otherwise, wouldn't be a issue.
