DUH!!! You Think!?!? How long have REAL ECONOMIST told barry and the country that what HE and his minions were doing would cause this mess we are in!?!? Now he says it will happen if we don't get a grip on this spending!!!! But he still has the need to bury us in debt with "Cap & Tax" and "barrycare" and bailouts and Stimulus packages...oh and increased Taxes......he does see his addiontional over the top spending as a huge part of the problem......

BEIJING, Nov 18 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama gave his sternest warning yet about the need to contain rising U.S. deficits, saying on Wednesday that if government debt were to pile up too much, it could lead to a double-dip recession.

With the U.S. unemployment rate at 10.2 percent, Obama told Fox News his administration faces a delicate balance of trying to boost the economy and spur job creation while putting the economy on a path toward long-term deficit reduction.

His administration was considering ways to accelerate economic growth, with tax measures among the options to give companies incentives to hire, Obama said in the interview with Fox conducted in Beijing during his nine-day trip to Asia.

"It is important though to recognize if we keep on adding to the debt, even in the midst of this recovery, that at some point, people could lose confidence in the U.S. economy in a way that could actually lead to a double-dip recession," he said.

Fox News, which released a transcript of the interview, showed that comment by Obama on Wednesday morning and said the full discussion would be broadcast later in the day. (Reporting by Caren Bohan; Editing by John O'Callaghan)

Yeap all that has to be done is to kill millions of your own people that are just barely surviving from time to time to make a statement to those that would try and step up. When you have a death hold and total control on the people, they stay in line.

As far a Capitalism not lasting, it last just fine, as long as the government stays out of the way...and as fare the democracy thing, since we live in a Constitutionally Controlled REPUBLIC and not a democracy...i have no idea....

The Communist Chinese took over in a war that took place AFTER WWII. That government as NOT been in place since the 12th century. They took over using murder, terror, prison camps etc. Great bunch.

The present government in China fought a war with the Chinese Nationalists and forced them out of the country on to the island of Formosa. They are what is known as the communist Chinese. It is NOT the same as prior dynasties. It is relatively new. VERY oppressive. Just where else do you think all those Asian looking bodies in those traveling "Human Body" shows come from? Donations to science? Don't think so. Try Chinese prisons. Sort of "forced donations" I refuse to go see that show.

But is has NOT lasted since the 12th Century. This one alone has only lasted 60-70 years. There have been many governments in China over the years. It was NOT one continous central government. China was often fragmented by warlords etc. That story is far different than what I learned. My dad used to tell us stories of warring Chinese factions during WWII. He said how they used to have to post guards on the Chinese guards who were guarding our bases there during WWII. They were NOT Nationalist troops. They were Soviet backed Chicoms.

Now back to the b/s barry is phewing...he has finally seen the light...no not that his ideals are wrong, but that the people have had it with him and his ideals...you watch, he is going to start to move to the "middle" and save his presidency.....too late, he has lost the "independent voters and the dems aren't large enough in numbers to out vote the independents and the republicans.....good riddence to bad garbage....

but i still think what he is saying is bs, he still believes in his ideals and that is where he is wrong

I know about the warlords and different factions....fact is they were rooted in the core belief to control the peasants just under a different leader...

He must move to the middle....only makes sense IF he wants to get re-elected...there will be a lot more deals made now...the GOP should get their crap together on get on the goodie wagon...

They controlled their area and only SOMETIMES paid homage to a central ruler/king, whatever. There was NOT a continuos central government anywhere on the earth that has been in place since the 12th century. As to the history channel, they do a lot of UFO stories too.

I had dinner in a roadside place in Walton Ky called the woodland inn last night. The was an ongoing conversation for most of the night ( inbetween laughing at the TV show "my name is earl" ) and figuring thiese guy were a good represntation of most in Ky., all i can say is that if the FBI had been in there, most of the men in KY would be in jail based how their desire to do "things" to barry and his friends......winning re-election based on these guys, would be out of the question, heck, living would be....

China's centralized government was not in control of the country for most of the 20th century after the fall of the Qing Dynasty. Before that, there were times when the country had a number of internal wars and no government at all.

So China in our case is concern, they hold the purse strings now and I feel Obama was given a strong message that he has to find answers in order to pursue some of these programs to ensure they get their investment back.

Maybe we will see him back down on health care and cap and trade, China already told the world to screw themselves on any emission reductions in the near term.

I think all he is really doing is building a foundation for the reason taxes will need to be raised. I do not see him changing his ideals or goals at all.

I would think so too but the issue of the economy expanding enough to cover the funding projections may be where the problem sits with Congress in raising any taxes.

Michigan is already cooking the books to make it look like our economy is improving while we are going down faster. GM's advance quarterly is the same part of that propaganda needed to fool the people in thinking that we can raise taxes because we are out of the recession.

Even if they pump the rest of TARP into the economy, the jobs and hence the assets created by the need to build to support the jobs will not be there until there is real growth which may never come. What I think the Chinese have said is that we need to find another way without killing the economy, in other words stop trying to spend our way out of a recession.
