Absolutely. I'm sure there are people on here who have done it. The big thing to watch is the placement of the existing axle and the overall wheelbase. That will tell you if an extra axle will work well.

Ball Park Figure...from my experience and knowledge...

270-280 wb put a tag axle

300-330wb use a pusher

From what I have learned from truck reps...

Hope it helps...Always best to ask the rep at your dearlership doing the install though
