    Boycott the NFL

You missed my point on that so I'll reword it. Why should it matter to anyone else who you drive for? I drive for a decent sized t/t company out of Louisiana and love it. Get home 3 weekends a month minimum, and make decent money. I'm happy with it and so is my wife and son. That's all that...

    Boycott the NFL

Why does it matter what size truck you drive or who drive for anyway? I was in a t/t, then a s/t, then my own t/t, now in a company t/t. All that matters is that you're happy and taking care of who/what you need to take care of. Sent from my XT1058 using EO Forums mobile app

    Boycott the NFL

I can understand where there coming from after the murders and murder/suicides that have occurred at the hands of NFL players in recent history, and I'm about the biggest proponent of the 2nd Amendment out there. Sent from my XT1058 using EO Forums mobile app

Payload capacity for my new setup

Steer axle weight is 12k unless you got some bigger tired on your steer. If you're spending 100k on a truck why not get one with tandem drives? It will give you more load opportunities.

Here is your CHANCE give HOS feedback

I don't have anything constructive to add to the thread so I'll just criticize others for their improper use of a word. Sure wish I had a load.

I guess I'm gonna shut it down at the house for the night. When I deliver in Olive Branch,MS I'll have 6,686 miles for the month so far.

Panhandler...to give or not to give, that's the question.

I was at the Iowa 80 this summer on Memorial Day I had a load to deliver the next day close by. I was hanging out drinking tea and had 3 or 4 drivers constantly offering to buy my dinner because they thought I was broke because I wasn't eating. I had just planned on killing time before I ate. It...

    Dedicated Route

Your best bet is to try to develop a lane where you have multiple customers to pull freight for on both ends. That's what I do. I've got my Memphis customers and my Ohio customers. It works for me, and I'm doing good. I keep a load on my back and I keep rolling. I don't haul at discount rates...

    Welcome Back

I run a KW W-900 for the moment, pulling a 53' Great Dane air ride dry van. I've got a steady customer in the Memphis area going to Ohio. My problem seems to be when I get to Ohio and trying to get loads back to Memphis. I've got a few customers up there, but the freight isn't real steady. I can...

    Welcome Back

I'll try not to. I didn't realize there was an app for the iPhone and rarely get on my computer as my wife does the vast majority of my dispatching and load planning.

    Noisy Brakes

Sounds like its either brake dust, which I doubt depending on how new everything is, or a rough spot on the drums. I've got a rough spot on one of my drums and every so often that rough spot will get in just the right place to make it sound like the front end is about to fall off. In my case...

    Welcome Back

I figured I oughta pop out from behind this dark cloud and re-introduce myself since I've been away so long. I'm living in Marion,AR now, just north of West Memphis, and everything is going great. I just need a different truck, and I'm doing a lil shopping. Other than that just busy, busy. My...

    International ProStar vs. Pete 387

Just working hard and sometimes hardly working. I had a driver wreck my baby (KW) and it hasn't been right since. He ran it off the road. I had to get a new grill, headlights, bumper, side skirts down both sides, and he knocked the battery box out from under it. Then he just packed his stuff and...

    Noisy Brakes

Is there a vibration in the floorboard when this happens? My KW does that. It's either brake dust build up, or you might have a rough spot on one of your drums. At least that what causes my truck to do it.

Man just working and trying to make a living. You know how that goes. I've got a 5 year old son in kindergarten and another baby due in April. I'm in Delaware,OH loading for Olney,IL then picking up in Salem,IL going to Atlanta.

    International ProStar vs. Pete 387

I appreciate it. The main reason I'm looking at a Cummins is due to the fact that Detroit's are weak IMO and can't hardly pull a hill with a load on. I haul a lot of loads in the 44k-46k lb range.
