LDB just wondered because I have yet to find a freightliner dealer who dealt with CAT questions in an intelligent manner. I would never take a CAT engine problem to anyone but a CAT dealer.

LDB, I recently had the ecm burn out on our C-13 , CAT replaced this expensive part free of charge, the truck had 438,000 miles on it at the time. Did your problems happen at a CAT dealer or some where else?

I think you are right Davekc, we haven't had any of these panther problems so many keep talking about ,of course only been with panther 7yrs! Recently haul an ABF load 3 other Panther drivers picking up there at the same time. Alot better then the UPS fiascos of the past.

Ours lasted 2yrs and was runnin when I saw the truck with the new owner a year later,for around 100-130 bucks a reasonable alternative. Ours was in an ALumni bunk non air ride sleeper Ouch!:)
