I started at Panther with no experience, and within a few weeks moved up to a 24' str8 truck. I loved it and now I miss it. Wish I was back OTR.

any driver that sits in one place for more than a few days is not playing it smart...better to use the relocation tools provided and waste a full tank of fuel getting to a better location than to waste that same tank of fuel while watching TV.

no...not picking. It's random by SS#. In the almost 4 years I was on...I was tested 2x. At orientation, and after a crash. My wife was tested 3 times in as many months just 6 months after her initial test.

It was absolutely gorgeous in Stockton, CA. Spent all day Sunday and most of Monday with the wife and my ex high-school girlfriend...and her girlfriend, lounging on the back porch, with our feet in a wading pool that we couldn't keep the dogs out of. Fun times reflecting back on those h/s days...

Any time we end up near HQ in Seville we stop in...although we try to go in at night to see the dispatchers because of the hectic pace of the day shifters...not to say night shift isn't busy, but at least we get to visit and talk, and bring the dog in with us. They love watching him do tricks...

I've got the C550 also, and yes, it does show a higher speed than my speedo, and according to roadside radar stands...the Garmin supplies the correct speed, which works well for me...the Mrs. will look over at my speedo and say I'm speeding..."lol, no I'm not...see", as I show her the Garmin.
