We now have a new Bookmark feature that lets you create you own set of Bookmarks for individual posts. Comes in handy for recalling important posts, and for storing posts for later reference. This should come in handy for doing research.
At the bottom of the posts you'll see a new Bookmark link. Once bookmarked, the text changes to "Unbookmark" so you can toggle the Bookmark, same as you can toggle the "Like" link. (clicking the images below will enlarge them to full size. Clicking again will reverse it)
When you click to Bookmark a post, you get an overlay where you can add a note indicating why you bookmarked the post. You can also use the Note to create categories or tags, like "APU" or "Batteries" or whatever.
To get to your Bookmarks easily, just hover over your settings...
Your list of book marks contains links to the post itself, the forum from which it came, who posted it, and an Edit link to edit the note (or delete the Bookmark - which can also be done by selecting Unbookmark on the post).
To go along with the Bookmark feature, there is also a new History link.
Clicking that will get you a listing of the last 50 threads you've viewed, and will have threads with new posts highlighted. It's a way to quickly find a post you've recently read but aren't quite sure where it is.
