That's because there's no political ground to be gained by commenting. Democrats have been quick to assume motive if for no other reason than to victimize Planned Parenthood for political mileage. Republicans certainly can't come out in favor of a shooting at a Planned Parenthood, especially since the shooter doesn't have any political or anti abortion history, and it's by all accounts just bat crap crazy.

But Democrats, and Planned Parenthood (and you betcha the media), will milk this for all it's worth. Our illustrious Attorney General came out immediately and characterized the attack as a "crime against women receiving health care services," which is a load of horse hockey. She doesn't know. But it sure victimizes Planned Parenthood and demonizes the shooter in a special kind of way. He's not even anti abortion, he's anti women's health care! By golly he's anti women! Vicki Cowart, president of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, got her self-serving dig in as well, saying the shooter "was motivated by opposition to safe and legal abortion." Because like AG Lynch, she's psychic, toooo.

While all this is propebly true, the Repubs need to condem the shooting. IMO. Of course.

Far as I know (I didn't watch out read about any of the Sunday morning shows), none of the Republicans have actually mentioned Planned Parenthood while condemning shooting.

Then again, we really don't know if PP was a target or even had anything to do with the shooting.

Whatever ones stand on Planned Parenthood is, is irrelevant.

It is the shooting that needs to be condemned. To not do so is an abomination.

Abomination is kind of a strong word for someone who merely fails to speak up and condemn the shooting. Especially if the shooter is crazy, as any condemnation would be meaningless, since the whole reason for condemnation is to express strong disfavor for the purpose of censure, of punishment, and deterrence.

Otherwise it's just another, "I didn't get a harumph outta that guy."

He said 'No more baby parts' according to the police.
Oh, I know. The media is riding that pony hard.

An unnamed cop unauthorized to speak publicly, spoke publicly. Hhhmmm

What does "No more baby parts" even mean, anyway? I'll tell you, it means whatever you want it to mean.

He could have been looking for baby parts, didn't find any, and said, "No more baby parts," right before he said, "Uh, oh. It's two minutes to Wapner."

What do these homicidal maniacs in Colorado have in common other than their extreme level of insanity?

The Batman moviegoers were just as innocent as the PPH victims, if not more so. Abortion clinic attacks (assuming this was one) have been going on for years, having been carried out by sane and insane perps with guns and bombs. Punishment for both has been imposed appropriately in the courts.

On another note, wonder why the libs - including POTUS - didn't express the same level of outrage over the killings at the military recruiting offices in Chattanooga? Was it because they were carried out by a perfectly sane muslim terrorist acting against those who were serving their country in an honorable - but not liberally acceptable - cause?
