A Good Padlock????
Allright I know this must sound kinda silly but, In the few short weeks we have been out here I have gone through 2 padlocks on the cargo barn doors. Not that they were stolen but that they have malfunctioned.
The two that i did buy were Master locks. however the tumblers failed, Thus the first one had to cut off at a customers loading dock, the second one i was able to unlock however the key just turned in 360 degrees and i cant get the key out.
both locks were rubber coated with a key hole protector.
Any input

I agree with Moose. Abloy locks are the most trouble free locks I have ever used. Below are links to 2 threads dealing with padlocks.

Re: A Good Padlock????
Regardless of the lock, I still always carry a mini saw with a hacksaw blade. The saw is lighter than bolt cutters and cuts through more kinds of locks. Just don't store the saw in the padlocked compartment.
