Pete 384 Straight Truck

Yesterday while on the hunt for a new donut shop I stumbled upon that Pete ST I've seen on the road now and then. The donut shop had closed its doors some time ago and I was just about to leave when I looked down the alley next to it and found this. Turns out its a 384, has what looks to be a 24' box built by Minoru Truck Bodies which does those snap together extruded walls. The company is Aqua Resources Development, I assume they do something with fish or other marine life, at first I thought it had a lift but instead under the extension what looks like a drain - presumably for some internal tanks. I gotta try getting some better pix if the sun comes out. Looks really good I think.

Re: Pete 384 Straight Truck

Nice looking truck! I am looking at options of using a Pete 387 as a straight. A 384 might be another option.

Nice truck but the sleeper sucks. Way to small. 387 makes the best model for expediting. I lost one because I could not get it financed until it was too late. If you ever need a truck financed call Mike Regal at Access capital first and last payment gets you in the truck with decent credit. Again the 387 gives you the best sleeper and it's easy to drive because the nose is not to long for tight places.

Re: Pete 384 Straight Truck

That isn't a long nose. If you want to see a long nose look at a 379 Extended hood. Plus you can get a bigger sleeper put on that truck they just choose not to.

That 384 is the short nosed version of the 386 - 116" vs 122" (or is is 120?)

Re: Pete 384 Straight Truck

The 387 gets the best fuel economy because it's a aero truck. Plus it has lots of head room above the drivers seat.
