Got the truck registered and base plate threw my fleet.(don't ask...)
Cab Card show 32,000 lbs.
GVW on the truck is 33,000
Did i just lost 1,000 lbs of pay load ???
can i gross 33K ?

anyone els have the same problem ?
it is a St.Truck , no tag axle .

20K rear + 12K front = 32K Sounds like a case of legal maximums being lower than mfg's rating.

My rear is 21K ,

cab-card do not say per axle, only gross.
anyone out there have it registered for 33K ?

That might be but I think most states do not allow you more than 20K on any single axle - period..........I think that is where your 1000 lbs went. Its just like getting 40K tandems - you still can't put more than 34K on them legally.

32k total that is what I can have legally but the truck if I use the axle ratings comes in at 33k. There also should be something on the sticker that tells you your legal max, which in my case says 32k.
