.Freightliner Coronado Straight Trucks
Just found these pics on the Freightliner site.... couldn't find details.... maybe just a teaser pic, maybe more suited for dumptrucks, tankers, etc... but I can sure imagine some VERY cool possibilities for that 'Land Yacht' Expediter! :D :D :P :P :D :D
Anyone seen one of these yet? I'm surprise one of the big dealers hasn't jumped all over this as a 'premium' expedite truck.

RE: .Freightliner Coronado Straight Trucks
Dreamer,
Nice find! Wow - they look a little "computer generated" - are they teasing us?
:o
I know [link:www.expeditersonline.com/sub/thetruckguys/|Freightliner of Knoxville] has had the Coronado tractor for awhile. This is the first time I've seen this truck like this.

Dreamer,
Where did you find the pics? I have visions of a 12' sleeper....maybe we could still be considered a "B". :7

Not at all! Yeah, this one's just a daycab... now... imagine it stretched out a little, a co-ordinated paint schemed sleeper, something that flowed with the lines... hey, there's already a 'lil duece coupe' truck... but .. that 2nd pic looks like a Hot Rod to me... definately could do some 32 Ford Coupe type stylin!
I bet Mr. Bentz could come up with something..
after all, Jon Mozier DID say in that article they could put the 96" Express Cruiser Hi Rise Condo sleeper on a Century Day Cab.... why not a Coronado?
Or.. just a nice 72"-84" add on sleeper to keep the classic look?
(Mr. Bentz, Mr. Mozier are ya listenin? LOL)
:) :) :) :P :P :P
