The article by Jeff Jenson explains why I chose to be a member of the team at Tri State. I will call particular attention to the section entitled: "The Drivers". Mr. Chidister, CEO, knows that today's drivers are not simply going to accept every load offer that is presented to them. He goes on to say that today's drivers are very intelligent and that they plan their operations.
It is apparent that Mr. Chidister has discussed his business thoughts with the management team at Tri State. Speaking from a personal perspective I have never been forced to accept a load offer that I determined to be unprofitable for my business operation. I respect the liberty afforded me by Tri State to operate my business in the manner which best suits my needs as an owner/operator. If I remain profitable, I remain in business; therefore, I remain a valuable asset to Tri State Expedited Services, Inc.
Mr. Chidister, I salute you for your understanding of today's drivers.
