CoPilot reciever compatibility...

Hey, can anybody give me a definite answer... Will the reciever from streets and trips work with co-pilot 4? My reciever went out, and now ALK is giving me the run-around. I need to figure this out. I'm heading back out this comin friday and with out the GPS I may as well stay home.

The MS S&T receiver is a regular old cheap import USB receiver so I would assume it should work for co pilot. You may have to change the port around on the software.

I use the same receiver for 3 different applications at different times.

RE: CoPilot reciever compatibility...

I have both and at least mine is not just plug in and go. It may work if you tweak some settings but I couldn't find it right off and gave up before I got it to work. Good luck getting the right settings.

Well, I did check both websites, and a couple of others, and it should work. However, if you'r ever in my situation, and the reciever goes out, replacemnts are on ebay from $20 to $75. Just be sure you get one that is the same 183 class.
