Don't know if this is the right forum to ask this.. but..

I've been in expediting before, so I know the business... but have been out of it for a while, working a factory job. Wanting to get back into expediting, but credit sucks due to layoff, medical bills, etc.... long story, standard stuff...

Point is.. I'm in better financial shape now, but my credit past is killing me in getting a truck...

Is there a way to form a company to buy a truck, that the decison to extend credit, would not be based on my personal credit?

If so, how would I go about it, what is involved?

Sorry for the delay in geting back to you on this, but I do not know of any person in the same position without getting a personal credit check. You might try some sort of Gov Grant, but that will take approx 6 months to a year to proscess, lot of red tape in this area, the other is find someone you might know who has some $$$$ and let him buy the truck and you drive,

Have you gotten a copy of your credit reports from all 3 of the major reporting agencies. Eperian, Equifax, and Trans-Union. get rejected or credit and you can receive a free print out of the actual report, which you can go over and correct any indecrepancies that may appear on them. the only one that can repair credit is you, not these so called credit repair places. all there doing in taking your $$$, as far as I am concerned. But I have not checked any out yet,

I am in the same boat you are, Since August, when I had my open heart surgery, the mortgage company I had did not want to work with me at all and the house was just foreclosed at the end of april,
Some Credit card companies did work and reduced the interest and payment, but other's didnt, So if you purchase anything in the future, like a house, car, truck, take the credit life insurance or Mortgage insurance on those particitular items. if GOD FORBID IT HAPPENS AGAIN.
I have a cargo van leased on to CTX, and only have 1 year left on payments, and it will be 5 years old next year. But I cannot purchase a new one due to the paragraph above. and also have reverse equity in it.
