Phelps is a God
What Michael Phelps has done has never been done before. He now has won more gold medals then any other person in ALL of olympic history. We are watching history in the making.
He now has to jump to the top of the list of the best athletes ever. You have your Tiger Woods, your Lance Armstrongs, your Michael Jordons. All regarded as one of the best if not the best in their respective sport but to have more golds then anyone else EVER that is just hard to fathum. And when he gets these gold medals he is "crushing" the previous world record time.
And he's not finished this year let alone if he comes back in 4 more years.
Just to give all of you conspiracy theorists that maybe some steriods or other unnatural things are involved I will give you a little bit of info about this man.
First he has size 14 feet (built in flippers and get your mind out of the gutters you women out there) his "wing span" is 6'7" (3" longer then his height) and has an abnormally long torso which makes him more boyant.
Now for his training. He swims 5 hours aday 7 days aweek. To keep up with all that energy expensed he has an intake of over 12,000 calories. Any one who has ever swam on a team and gone thru the practices knows what its like. It is some of the most grueling out there.
Put that all together and you have a living legend unlike the one they think is running for president.
Just another reason to feel proud to be an american and we will be able to tell our great grand children about it.
