I noticed that the detriot press has down played the loss a lot. One sports reported said that they are "now out of the running for the world series" in such a way that he seemed to be talking about a team in another state.

Alright Greg, if your a true fan of the Tigers this is just as bad as being a Boston Red Sox fan.

This was a better team much better all the way around good enough to slam other teams. Just not our week though. The Cards played outstanding and the pitching was superb it could of should of been a great series but instead we stunk really humiliated us fans.

The season was unbelievable they really did a great job of entertaining Detroit and the Baseball World, simply put they did not come prepared for the big dance, and a big dance one in a lifetime it was.

Next year? Been a Lions follower long enough to know better but hope for maybee just maybee next year.

The Tigers had over a week to prepare for a team that entered the playoffs with fewer wins as a divisional title holder than any in the history of baseball. Sans wild card entries. The tigers gave up base after base, run after run through error after error. They were,nt unprepared in basic fundementals just unprepared in capitalizing upon those of their opponents.
