Reform or change?

Not to be an a** but reform what?

This is a state issue, not a fed issue and the feds need to either do one simple thing or stay completely out of it.

If this is so important, then the people need to FORCE their state legislators to change their rules and maybe work with other states to get things fix, NOT THE FEDS.

But just makes these changes and it will help all of us.

The simplest thing to do is increase competition, even some insurance companies want to see that.

The second thing is to make mandates OPTIONAL for insurance companies. There is only a FEW things that should be mandated. A number of costly non-life threatening procedures COST a lot of money and don't need to be written in every policy for every subscriber.

The third thing is to think about eliminating Medicare or at least make it possible for people who can and do carry secondary insurance instead of being forced to take Medicare.

REMEMBER we don't have poor people, we have Rich Poor so equating our poor with the poor in Africa or Rio is ridiculous and people are too dumb to fall for it.

You have to start be figuring out why it is so high, they don't know that.

That insurance company blurb got a lot of it right, but I was talking about the government has no idea what is going on. Most of what was addressed in that blurb will be continued or increased as the government takes over health care. Costs are NOT going to come down under this plan that they are forcing on us.
