Interesting how if you have common sense you're accused of lacking thought capability and merely listening/repeating others with some common sense. If you are on the other side and disagree nobody says you do nothing but listen/repeat Olberman etc. though.

That would be true IF they were actually controversial to the masses but they ain't. Removing Fox News out of the mix, they are entertainers and like their counter parts on the left take issue with the things that make ratings. I remember Air America hosts saying some bad things, like one wanted to see Bush killed and another wanted to see things changed with violent means - a sitting senator made mention of that a few times on his show. I think the difference between the two is simply that these entertainers and most know it.

Fox News has been rather been in the middle of a lot of issues, surprisingly more so than anyone else. Where CNN and CBS for that matter have been far left or extremely opinionated, Fox News overall has been on the middle with their news.

Well a** kissing? we have done a lot of that, not the other way around. Look around in Europe if you have any doubt, look at NATO or the UN.

As for our influence, it has faltered because of a lack of leadership, more so now but also with the past two presidents.

I would think if the world wanted to move to a more stable currency to trade with - the ruble - it would have done it so far. BUT they recognize the fact that the Euro is heavily supported and fragile and forget the Yen, Japan has been economic crisis for how long?

Social democracies have only been around for less than what a 120 years? or something like that. Most of these countries came from a monaracy form of government or was a territory or colony of a larger country. Most of these countries still fail at understanding rights and how to apply them to the people, they are still in this mindset that the rights come from the government not from the people - we're have an opposite way of thinking. We are not a social democracy and really can't be.

Americans used to have respect for the Presidency even if they did not care for the person who currently occupied it. My questions was, WHO on this site (EO) repeats Olberman, Maher, or whoever you may think is a liberal pundit? I am asking you LDB who in here, again the Soapbox, repeats any liberal counterparts.

This is just an assumption but I think the majority in the Soapbox who post quite a bit are also on other websites, blogs, etc, and carry over what they see or hear on these other sites and bring them here. Me personally I listen to Beck, Limbaugh and watch on occasion Beck and O'reilly and I do not go on any other websites other than the Soapbox, except the GOOOH forums as of recently.

My point is anyone displaying some common sense is accused of having no original thoughts or personal opinions/intelligence. They are accused of mindlessly repeating Rush/Beck etc. in rote. I don't see the left being accused of mindless repetition and lack of thought even though there is very little thought and mostly just feelings in play with the left.

That's allright, But when the Lawsuits Start Jan 26th In Court, He will Hopefully be Ordered by the Judge to Provide a "Real One" as well as Answer to a Whole lot of questions as to his Citizenship And Passports

The birth certificate thing is like aliens who were sitting in the bar in Roswell NM in 1947, they got drunk and could not get their ship to fly right and they crashed - who really cares because it is irrelevant to our lives.

The bigger thing to worry about is why are we a country who makes exceptions to the separation clause - building monuments to one religious leader while tearing another down.
