I JUST now got off the phone with my son, the one in Afghanistan. He is TEED OFF to say the least. By his assesment this surge will. for the most part, do LITTLE than get more killed. 30,000 was NOT the 80 to 100,000 MORE troops needed. The rules of engagement HAVE been changed, FOR THE WORSE!! Our troops are now little more than sitting ducks. NOT allowed to engage and destroy. NOT allowed to persue and kill the enemy. Just imagine fighting a pitch battle, capturing a person that was firing automatic weapons and RPG's at you, and having to read him his RIGHTS? What is Obama thinking? I believe that he is NOT thinking. As Forest Gump says, "Stupid is as stupid does."

How much you want to bet when HIS daughters are 18 that they NEVER serve this Nation by putting THEIR lives on the line. Their daddy did NOT, their MOMMY did NOT. THEY will NOT.

At least our guys have found ONE good way to kill the "bad guys" and without firing a single shot!! They learned that when they had to put up a Brig for U.S. soldiers that screw up that the Talliban would target the brig with morters, RPG's etc. They love shooting at people that are un-able to fight back. SO, we ship OUR prisoners out of country to Kuwait and then we house ENEMY prisoner in OUR Brig. SO, when they hit the brig they kill their own guys!! Way to go!! Nothin like good ole American ingenuity to overcome the stupidity of our Commander in CHIEF!!

There is ALWAYS more than one way to kill a Talliban!!

Vaya con dios to your son and all the others over there in that Godforsaken pesthole. I'm afraid it's going to take something like another terrorist attack on our home soil or a major conflict between Iran and Israel to make people realize the total incompetence of this president and his administration. We will continue to see our foreign relations deteriorate until the US is once again trusted by its friends and feared by its enemies.
