    Oh, here's one...
"This is good news," said Peter Cardillo, chief market economist at Avalon Partners, who had forecast a loss of 95,000 jobs and the jobless rate declining to 10.1%.
    Moron. He wadd'n even close.

"Traditionally, unemployment lags," added Cardillo. "But it looks as though the economy will stop shedding jobs and we can start seeing some job growth in the first quarter of 2010."
Why do they quote him as if he's some kind of authority, as if he has even a remote chance of being right? Based on his track record, we can look for significant job losses in the first quarter of 2010. <snort>

    Hi
We just had our annual employees meeting at the plant that I work at. The owners claim a 20% increase in sales. They have called back everyone who was laid off last year and have hired 6 new people. They have purchased 2 new machines and are working on getting another. We also recieved this years profit shareing check (no profit last year so no check) which we really were not expecting.
My fear is that we will rebound too quickly thus making the next market crash even more painful.Sure hope Im wrong and they are right.
Good Luck and have a safe and glorious holiday season.

We shall see, I HOPE it holds and things improve but I kinda think this will be short lived. With new taxes coming on line soon, maybe Cap and Trade which will KILL large industry I think we will see an end to this recovery and a return to Stagflaition.
