Stewart catches Hannity faking video footage

I am impressed that 10,000 showed up but it just goes to show how far FOX News will go to reel in more viewers shamelessly.

Sean Hannity should know by now that Jon Stewart will go to the tape. The Daily Show host caught Hannity using old footage—from Glenn Beck’s 9/12 rally, no less—to make Thursday’s anti-health care bill rally appear to have, as Michele Bachmann and Hannity claimed, 20,000 to 45,000 attendees. The Washington Post reported the number to be closer to 10,000. Watch the video above.

There's the pot calling the kettle black. Stewart has a long history of either lying outright about his conservative targets, or taking quotes out of context and giving them an entirely different meaning. Bill O'Riley recently documented ten different edited film clips or out-of-context quotes Stewart did about him in only one of his anti-O'Riley segments. Maybe he got it right with Hannity, maybe not - I couldn't stand watching 20 minutes of John Stewart on this link. At any rate it will be interesting to see Hannity's response.

Hannity - ENTERTAINER

Neither of them have anything to do with good ethical reporting of the news because they are ENTERTAINERS. They can fake footage, call it real and no one should care because they are ENTERTAINERS.

It comes down to this - SNL is a horrible thing to watch, but people still beleive that the weekend update is in fact a good news outlet. Those people may be very drunk or just plain well ... to understand that is ENTERTAINMENT.

I read in a poll recently that a majority of the same SNL age group to which you refer considers Jon Stewart to be their most reliable source of news. This offers even more evidence of the brain-dead condition of the 20-something generation. This brings to mind a suggestion for our CIA and Homeland Security interrogaters: instead of waterboarding the terrorist prisoners, force them to watch SNL reruns from the past two years.

I contend that Oprah Winfrey and SNL vaulted Obama into the White House. If this trend continues, we are in for rough times.

Yep...he got Hannity, but remember when the 9/12 video was origanally broadcast they also said it was "doctored" and the events get curiouser and curiouser.
