The couple have two sons: Sean Thomas Harmon (born 25 April 1988), who played a young Gibbs in NCIS Season 6 Episode 4, and Ty Christian Harmon (born 25 June 1992).Harmon was the brother-in-law of the late Ricky Nelson and is the uncle of singers Matthew and Gunnar Nelson of the pop duo Nelson, and actress Tracy Nelson. Harmon dated singer Karen Carpenter in the seventies.

In 1996, Harmon made headlines when he saved two teenage boys who were involved in a car accident outside of his home. Harmon used a sledge hammer from his garage to break the window out of their burning car, then pulled them free from the flames. He made every effort to downplay his role in saving the boys' lives.

His father played football for the U Of Michigan. Pam Dawber went to school in Michigan right near where I was raised. They do seem rather normal for having done so well. Must have had some real solid upbringing. I don't recall hearing any "stupid" stuff about them. Kinda refreshing. I hope it stays that way.

The thing about Palin quitting is it seemed to be without further purpose. The "lame duck" argument fell really flat with me. If she's truly been libeled and this frees her to take legal action, I guess that makes a little sense of it.

Chef, while I do have my own "gut" on things, I certainly don't mind hearing all sides of any argument. If she's going to be the face of the party in the future I'd like to think I've given her a real chance.

You guys can have your TV reruns, I'm watching sharks eat people on Discovery. Now that's compelling TV.

Hey highway my daughter washes her cats in the shower. She seems a little shy around washing the new cat as it has 24 claws (a few more than normal). We've nicked her as "big foot".

What's wrong with the third party idea? I suggested that months ago. At least then you'd be able to have people run for office other than the usual lawyers, politicos etc. A clean low budget campaign with more meet the average person approach. Bring back honesty in politics and doing the job for the citizens back home. Make the idea of responsible government actually mean something. It can be done and much easier today than in the past due to the better communications available.

I agree. What kind of mindless jerk could possibly support Palin's candidacy? She is such a phoney. Let's hope she stays home to raise her many, many children. Can you believe she had the audacity to spew her drivel about conservatism and traditional family values? Is hers a family or a circus? You decide. Now, let's come to our collective senses and re-elect Obama by acclamation. My prediction: Obama carries 49 states in 2012. Those **** rednecks in Kentucky just don't get it.
