Re: The proposed health care bill pages 425-430.
They have told us that there will be rationing...they have said they will not be providing what we have come to expect, they have told us that the elderly and non productive should be ready to deal with illness like cancer with pain medication instead of any program to eradicate it , live with it till you can't stand it....
I don't understand why people think this isn't coming, barry and joe and tom daschle (who barry wanted to run this healthcare issue until he was made to step aside because of his fraud and tax issues) have all told us that this is coming..dachle wrote a book about and now sits on the board at "GE magination" (as a thank you to barry from GE ceo jeff immelt) and will act as an "advisor to barry" on healthcare and how the government should manage it...it is coming, if you think it is not, you are just kidding yourself....

SALEM, Oregon, June 4, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Lung cancer patient, Barbara Wagner, was recently notified that her oncologist-prescribed medication that would slow the growth of cancer would not be covered by the Oregon Health Plan; the plan, however, she was informed, would cover doctor-assisted suicide should she wish to kill herself.
"Treatment of advanced cancer that is meant to prolong life, or change the course of this disease, is not a covered benefit of the Oregon Health Plan," read the letter notifying Wagner of the health plan's decision. Oregon, not a foreign country....right here in the good old USA....
Dr. Walter Shaffer, medical director of the state Division of Medical Assistance Programs, which administers the Oregon Health Plan, attempted to defend the health plan's decision. "We can't cover everything for everyone," he said. "We try to come up with polices that provide the most good for the most people."........SOUND FAMILIAR???
"We have been warning for years that this was a possibility in Oregon. Medicaid is rationed, meaning that some treatments are not covered. But assisted suicide is always covered. And now, Barbara Wagner was faced with that very scenario."
Full story HERE
You can't read that and tell me that something like this will not happen when all of the experts are saying that one of the ways to attempt to pay for this monstrosity is to RATION......
I don't know about you but I don't happen to think that ANYONE deserves to be treated this way.....

I see no problem there...the state don't pay for the drug...
Q. Was the drug approved when the state dismissed covering it?
Not all life saving drugs are paid for by MOST states..they are not all inclusive.
Everyone screams here about go get your own plan.....this woman can go buy her own darn pills...why should I pay for them thru may taxes because she choses to go to Cracker Barrel for Sunday brunch!....instead of buying her own!!

no..if it is good for Leo then it is good all around.....
We shouldn't rely on the government for anything...no ENTITLEMENTS... The article doesn't even mention the 3rd choice....I question the validity of the article and its truthfulness....
3rd choice NOT mentioned....buy your own pills and get off the government handout wagon.....
