Iowa Republican Rep. Steve King Introduced an Amendment that would Bar the Census Bureau from Disbursing Tax Payer Funds to the Activist Group Acorn! But Democrats Immediately Squelched the measure, King Disclosed.
In a Release Issued on Tuesday, After the Amendment Regarding the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now was Introduced, King Said: It's time for every Member of this Congress to go on Record in Support of Our Opposition to ACORN. ACORN and it's Estimated 270 Corporate Affiliates Comprise a complex Organizational and Financial Spider Web With All The Appearance of a Criminal Enterprise. ACORN is Facing Charges of Voter Fraud and Tax Violations, Yet it Has Received Over $53 Million in Tax Payer Funds
Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank and His Liberal Friends Have Opened the Tax Payers Wallet to as Much as an Additional $8.5 Billion That Could be Accessed by ACORN
ACORN Could Soon be Running the 2010 Census if President Obama, (A Former Employee) Follows Through on Plans to have ACORN "Partner" with the Census Bureau.
Lastnight Speaker Nancy Pelosi And Democrat Leaders Passed a Gag Rule to Ensure That Kings Amendment "Never made it to the House Floor".
King Stated "This Pelosi Congress" is Violating it's Commitments to the American People so it can Protect it's Political Cronies like ACORN.
Democrats refuse to Allow a Debate, Let alone cut off ACORN'S access to the Tax Payers Wallet..

This is no surprise to anyone that has an iq over 25 ethics do not matter to the demos at all. They don’t even try to hide it they want what they want and don’t care what anyone thinks. If this was being done by the gop the demos would be screaming the tv news would be screaming but since its demos well we all know they are above it all. After all they know what’s best for us.

Most people understand that the census is controled by the constitution and congress...i really don't remember and if it happened, i'll admit i missed it, but when did the congress turn its power of the census over to the exc branch so that barry could then give it up to acorn?????

Was that a constitutional ammendment that i missed? Was there even a vote in the senate and congress to give this power to the wh??

OR........ did barry just take it, appoint a czar and as per his continued efforts, make sure they inly answer to him and his minions.....forget the regulatory process we have had in place for hundreds of yrs, it needed CHANGE!!!!

Well, maybe ya did ..... FWIW, the last 50 (.... 100 ?) years have seen a never-ending litany of instances where Congress has repeatedly dumped their constitutionally mandated duties off on the Executive branch .....

It's called irresponsibility ......

Ill give you the fact that they have dumped off more then a few of their Constitutionally mandated jobs, but this one was simply "taken" without a whimper (i guess we really shouldn't expect anything different) and it was then given to a criminal organization to run...........well again i guess we shouldn't expect anything more from a 'chicago politician", lol most people understand they are crocks and theives..........

Yea both parties tend to have their share, but that particular region of the country and area of that state seems to "breed" them and most of them from there seem to find their way to one party!!!
