OHHH, you know I think that the problems of the world can be solved by getting rid of the 'reporter' and just tell us the truth, no filtering, no opinion - just the truth.

But that's like saying to get rid of war, kill the infantryman. First, ya gotta kill the editors. Then, ya gotta kill the journalism professors. Finally, ya gotta write a law stating how the news will be written, so as not to mess with the government. End result... a state run media.

I do agree with you in principle. The media shapes the way we think. As long as you have PT Barnum in charge of the media circus, then a sucker will be born every minute. You can't change that unless you change the indoctrination of the peasants. And to do that, you need to change what's taught in school... for everyone, not just the starry-eyed reporter wannabes.
