Bi Partsian support among Govenors Against the Health Care Bill
BILOXI, Miss. — The nation’s governors, Democrats as well as Republicans, voiced deep concern Sunday about the shape of the health care plan emerging from Congress, fearing that Washington was about to hand them expensive new Medicaid obligations without money to pay for them.
The role of the states in a restructured health care system dominated the summer meeting of the National Governors Association here this weekend — with bipartisan animosity voiced against the plan during a closed-door luncheon on Saturday and in a private meeting on Sunday with the health and human services secretary, Kathleen Sebelius.

More government UN-FUNDED mandates. HEY!! how about making sure that ANY health care bill that ends up being passed INCLUDES the Senate, Congress AND the President. They should not get ANY care that those paying the bills can get. Let Barry wait in line.

Re: Bi Partsian support among Govenors Against the Health Care Bill
Actually, technically plainly speaking, the federal government has zero rights to be involved with a states rights issue. Health care is not a federal mandated area to begin with and never was. There needs to be a hard push with the 10th amendment on this and other issues but again the people can't spell Constitution let alone know what it is.

You got that right Greg, the Feds have been shoving un-funded madates on the State for years. Then people wonder WHY the States are having money problems.

The Fed as made it clear that they don't care about the 10th...while this is about the states gun rights, it still points out that the Fed expects states to give up their rights and they are making sure that gun dealers (in this instance) are instructed to ignore the state laws...gun laws today...any other issue barry chooses next...

There are people in need of help. Charity is one of the nobler human motivations. The act of reaching into one's own pockets to help a fellow man in need is praiseworthy and laudable. Reaching into someone else's pocket is despicable and worthy of condemnation.
