FM stereo is so far out. Its like having two ears and hearing stuff from both ears at the same time. It totally blows AM like out of the stratosphere or atmosphere or something. Man, next stop is quadraphonic and we all gotta grow like two extra ears.

CSand007 what was your intentions for posting this info, if not to save others money. I tried to save them 10 more dollars a month, and maybe make a few bucks, not that anybody needs it today.

It's pure MLM. Google searches will get you a few hundred thousand hits, all of them sites pumping the "unique" virtues of this particular uniquely unique (but otherwise extremely pedestrian) MLM venuture (scheme, whatever word you prefer). The main Web site has no Privacy Policy, which is good because it's loaded with scripts that attempt to mine all sorts of data and track Web movements after the site has been closed. It has a "Policies and Procedures" link, but instead of it being a locally-hosted HTML page like normal, it's offsite hosted PDF that cannot be viewed in HTML, as the download can only be initiated by a javascript call. The Policies and Procedure is quite literally the contract agreement between the company and the associates. Interesting in that it spends a great deal of digial real estate detailing how it's really, really, bad to besmerch or belittle the company in any way, shape or form, except in the form of a hand written letter (e-mail will not be accepted) to GlobalVerge's Customer Service and must abide by a strict reporting procedure and format. A small "don't rain on my parade" snippet that cracks me up:

"Negative and disparaging comments about GLOBALVERGE, its products or
Compensation Plan, by e-associates made to GLOBALVERGE, in the Field or
at GLOBALVERGE meetings or events, or disruptive behavior at GLOBALVERGE
meetings or events, serve no purpose other than to dampen the enthusiasm of other
GLOBALVERGE e-associates. GLOBALVERGE e-associates must not belittle
GLOBALVERGE, other GLOBALVERGE e-associates, GLOBALVERGE products or
services, the Compensation Plan, or GLOBALVERGE directors, officers, or employees.
Such conduct represents a material breach of these Policies and Procedures and may
be subject to sanctions as deemed appropriate by GLOBALVERGE."

There is no contact information on the Web site (they've got a little thingy for it, but it's just for show - doesn't go anwyhere), nor in the domain name registration. The Web site is hosted on rented space from GoDaddy.com with the domain name being owned by Domains by Proxy, Inc, instead of the president of GLobalVerge, Ted Robbins. That's all kinds of odd, and has "I don't want to necessarily to make it easy for you to check up on me and my doman name history" written all over it.

The only research you can find on this company and what they do comes from the company itself, which tells more than it doesn't.

"We have 3 ways to get started. You can start at the Introductory Level for just $14.95 a month or our Basic Level for $39.95 a month or the Professional Level at $99.95 a month. (every level offers different benefits). Once you have made a decision to join Global Verge you will be placed into our 3x9 matrix (this applies to our Basic and Professional Levels only). The matrix builds your residual income but unlike traditional matrices the Global Verge Plan does not have "dead spots". To maximize your earnings we compress the matrix horizontally and vertically, "Another first"."
