Expo Workshop - Focus on Learning
Great fun at the Expo and a chance to meet your fellow posters. We all enjoy running into each other out on the road and with this workshop we will get to meet each other face to face all in one place.
July 25th 11:00 am - Networking & Roundtable Discussion with forum members
Networking - the key to learning the easy way instead of the school of hard knocks.
Each of us out here have tips that will help our fellow expediters and this workshop will be a great place to share and ask questions.
A few of the ideas I have heard to discuss are:
What kind of load equipment do you carry?
Tips for storage ideas
Routine maintenance plans
Fuel Saving ideas
Just exactly where are the dispatchers located?
Staying healthy on the road
Tips to getting sleep while your partner is driving
Traveling with a pet
Here is to seeing everyone there and getting to actually see what someone has done to their truck or van to make life easier for them.Bob & Linda

You never know what Lawrence has in his cart or where he is zipping off to you only know he will be driving fast!

Re: Expo Workshop - Focus on Learning
we are going to be there to give linda a helping hand, hopefully some of our other experienced EO members will show up also. this will be a chance to help prepare newcomers and people just starting in the business. with any luck we can prevent some mishaps or maybe even some wrong decisions about the business, or if in this economy certain people should even consider expediting. all in all, look at it this way, we may not be able to help monitarily but we can help informitivley which in the long run may turn into saving some livelyhoods. see ya all at the EXPO

Thanks for the invitation - I'm seriously thinking about going. Also wanted to thank you all for the great advice and comments from everyone on EO. I have been lurking for about a month now and finally decided to join up. You are a very colorful group!
