Do not call list
Got this from #3 daughter today:
Cell phone numbers going public tomorrow
REMINDER....all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies tomorrow and you will start to receive sale calls.
....YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS
To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:
888-382-1222.
It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time
It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number.
HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS.
It take about 20 seconds.

RE: Do not call list
Sorry but anything from a chain email should be checked first. What does it take, 30 seconds to type it into a search engine?
When was the last time you saw a chain email that was actually real? This particular one is only irritating, there are some that are malicous. I.e. the ones that say there is a virus and to delete "XYZ" program on your computer, which is actually a critical Windows program.
What is a chain email? Anything that states "Send this to everyone you know".

Well, I'm throwin in with Fr8Shaker - Theoldprof's heart was in the right place, and he meant to be helpful - if it turns out to be misinformation, no harm done, eh?

RE: Do not call list
The next day part wasn't accurate however I've gotten 2 sales calls to my cell. Cells can be added to the list so it is a useful post.

Common sense is only "right wing" if you are too far to the left.
The lesser of two evils is still evil but less evil is preferred to more evil if those are the only two viable options.
