board map confustion

ok on thenew board maps it is showing some grey rea in UT some of them less than50 miles from the board named city.

is this a colorist mistake or is it the way the board accualy is

It's the way the board actually is. Most of that on the right is the Great Salt Lake, and the rest of it is the Bonneville Salt Flats and the Great Sale Lake Desert, which contains the Wendover Air Force Range and the Dugway Proving Grounds where the test bombs and stuff. I'd be surprised if we're gonna get much outta there.

Down on the southern border you can see the Colorado River and Lake Powell is the same color, tho not as large so it's not as pronounced. Lake Okeechobee in Florida is the same way. Also Flathead Lake near Kalispell, MT. Oh, and Lake Michigan is a pretty good example of the same gray color.
