Fuel Tax
Just a couple of quick questions. If you are driving for an owner doing a 60/40 split, you getting the 60 and paying for fuel, is it your cost and responsibility to pay the fuel tax and if so, what would an estimated amount be say if you were to average 4000 miles a week driving 48 states?
Also, is there a link on this site anywhere to show what types of deductions you can possibly take on taxes as a driver for an owner? I am assuming that fuel is one of them?

This explains fuel tax strategy: http://www.expeditersonline.com/foru...hose-20-a.html
As far as who pays (or gets the refund/credit) you would need to see your contract with the owner. Not all are the same.Quit trying so hard to be offended
