Re: Summer or Winter?
Lady I sooooo AGREE WITH YOU.
Since I started this Thread and did not give an opinion now here it is.
I HATE DOING LAUNDRY from my sweat and smelling to the point I cannot stand myself even using deoderant I still stink in the summer. Monkey But we have all seen this sold in the Truck Stops I know thats a personal matter BUT ITS A FACT.
AND MOST OF ALL MY A/C WENT OUT THIS WEEK, so between Bees, Bugs, and my trying to be PATIENT with myself.
I find winter to be much more enjoyable.
Benefits of Winter
Orange Barrells at a limit
Vacationers who feel we are in the way limited in the Winter Example who has traveled Northbound 77 in VA this year or summer? Expect 20 mile back ups.
Flies
Dirty Windshields I can always clean a winshield in the winter but the bug Guts are there to stay in the hot sun and now add the flies who enjoy them and the inside of your truck.
Mosquitos!!!!!!!!!!!
I can always get warm in the winter.
No AC in the summer I love sticking body parts!!!!
Over heating Radiators.
Gators gotta love them in the summer vs the Winters.
OK I can at least predict a snow storm according to the weather channels. I have been in a few Thunderstorms this year (Ohio, In, Il,) had to stop.
I will admit Fuel Mileage in summer much higher almost 20% better.
SO THERE take that.

Re: Summer or Winter?
Winter all the way.
Like what was staighted earlier........ you can only take off so many cloths.
I think I have have dropped 10 lbs since april and its all soaked into my drivers seat
Just make sure you have good tires and slow down in the winter and your good to go

Re: Summer or Winter?
Spring through Fall. It's eaiser to find shade some where, as long as you lie still it's bearable. Ice tea, cold soda or what ever your pleasure it's eaiser to cool off then it is to get warm. My opinion. Plus it's very difficult to find someone to break pond ice for the mules when I'm out of town.

Re: Summer or Winter?
Wow I could not believe this post was still around.
Anyway AC is now fixed YEAH YEAH YEAH..... But last weekend in Memphis, Heat Index 115 and I had to find that needle in a hey stack lost trailer? Opened door after door after looking for an empty, would find one only to walk around the front and find a repiar tag attatched.
My temper was close to that heat index at the end of the day and no luck.
One of those days, but the temprature FFFricken hot not just hot.
