Terry,we picked up near Dallas heading to Sioux City. What beautiful country side, glad I had day shift to see it all, also saw my first buffalo herd outside of Yellowstone.
Talking about buffalo during a short layover in Buffalo a buddy of mine took me out for a tour of his fine city.His office overlooks Buffalo Bisons (Triple AAA for Cleveland Indians) ballpark. Having such a location wouldn't be conducive to working at least during baseball season. But he owns the company so he watches when he wants. Needless to say they were out of town that day.During which we ate buffalo wings at the sight where they were created back in the Depression. Apparently back then chicken wings were considered a byproduct and had little uses. Well this lady created what we all call Buffalo Wings and the rest is history. The restaurant has hundreds of celebrities photos hanging all over the walls and the place has a nice family atmosphere.
