Qualcom notification

Ive tried searching for this question but couldnt find the answer. Ive heard people talk that when the qualcom goes off they have 10 min to respond and 10 min to be wheels rolling.

My question is...If you are out of the truck to grab a bite to eat or something how will you know whats coming across the Qualcom?

Thanks, chilly

RE: Qualcom notification

Send in a message and put yourself on the phone. Either do this on the QualComm when you check into a Express Center if you drive for FedEx Custom Critical or call in. Very easy to do and you will not miss a load!

RE: Qualcom notification

With FDCC you can get a text msg alert sent to your cell phone. you can then return to the truck,or call in to dispatch. The run# will be in the text msg.

RE: Qualcom notification

With Panther it's 15/15 and even that isn't too much time. One of the status options you can set via qc is out of truck on pager. Theoretically they will then call your cell phone if there's an offer. Theoretically. Key word. It usually works about 98% of the time.
