Hi - saw several of your posts on EO and curious as to how you're doing at Colonial. I'm getting back into trucking after years of being out of it (as an owner only, can't pass the physical) and while I'm fairly sure I'm getting into expediting, your post with your pay the first couple of weeks made me curious. I owned tractors before for several companies, plus ran a cv for CTX. I noted on the Colonial website that they're pay was .91 - .93 per mile....which seems a lot less than what you said you made those first few weeks. Wondering if it is still is as good and how the .92 turned into the good pay you received? Thanks for any input you can offer...I can just as easily buy a tractor and put it to work as a straight truck.
Are you still leased on with Tristate or did you move on?
should the truck be titled in my name? or my company name.
so all i need is bill of sale and ins.
Good morning. I would like to understand more about what you posted on the discounted tariffs. I am very unsure what exactly that is. Thanks!!
Best wishes for a successful and peaceful day. Sometimes a birthday is a great thing for introspection, other times it can be a drain. Here's hoping that your day shows you great things and safe travels! Miss Kat

hey there , I'm wanting to get into this exp. thing now. I've been approved with Panther, just have to find truck to buy. After reading posts, wandering if I need to find another co. can you give me any insite? thanks
Nightcreacher, I am looking at getting into the expedited trucking business with Fedex CC and had a couple of questions, if you don't mind andwering them. First, I am looking at getting a tractor trailer and was wondering what manufacturer would be a good, reliable one. Also, what is considered high mileage and what can I expect to pay for a dependable, used unit 4-5 years old? Additionally, I will be hiring a married driving team - what is a competitive wage. I have a ton of questions but will start with these. Thanks in advance, Todd.
Hey Steve, my name is Stephan. How are you doing? I'm doing good...I am 24 and just love driving the open roads! I filled out an application to work for Fed Ex as an O/O. I've been talking with Geoffrey Price. I know trucking is slow right now. But I'm wondering if it's worth being O/O or trying out company driver for the time being? Geoffrey says I could make 5000/month after all cost. But I know he is a recruiter and will tell me what I wanna hear but not the whole story. I have been around trucking since I was 19. When I turned 21 I started driving and haven't looked back til the economy slowed down. I had to get out of trucking because there was no work. I now work for a fire sprinkler company but I miss the open roads. I just want to know if I will be getting over my head by being a O/O.
