Door to door salesman

A door to door saleman stops at the home of an elderly woman. She invites him inside, and they sit on the couch. Just as the salesman begins his talk, the phone rings. The woman excuses herself and leave the room to get the phone.

While the elderly woman is gone, the salesman notices a bowl of peanuts on the coffee table. He thinks to himself, "...I haven't had anything to eat today. She won't miss a few peanuts". Before he knows it, he's finished off the entire bowl.

Well, the woman returns from her phone call, and the salesman says, :...I'm sorry, but I've eaten all of your peanuts".

The elderly woman says, "...Don't worry. I just suck the chocolate off of them and put them back in the bowl."
